ales teams to launch campaigns and drive education, sales and adoption for Yamaha's Connected product line.
What you'll be doing:
Manage activation strategies and tactics to hit business targets for subscription attachment
Work with Yamaha boat builder marketing teams, and dealerships to educate, incentivize and drive subscription activations for Connected services
Utilize, organize and maximize cross functional resources with the Siren - Connected team as well as Yamaha Marine and external vendor partners in support of achieving business metrics
As part of activation strategies, also focus on enhanced sensor-device sales to enhance the Connected experience and grow sensor revenue
Developing long and short-term marketing strategy for new and existing products and services from ideation to implementation
Lead all marketing coordination and execution for the Connected division towards achieving its business objectives and vision to connect all marine products
Work closely with all marine sales teams to support dealer distribution, education, installation and sales of Connected products
Drive all marketing, content creation, education and roll out of Marine connected products to OEM partners and boat builders. Manage the Yamaha Connected and Siren Marine brands and consumer marketing across all key marketing channels and touch points to ensure positive brand perception
Report on results from all marketing activities, and make recommendations on improvements and optimization
Manage all marketing vendors and technologies; make recommendations on upgrades, best practices and optimizations towards the division's goals
Work cross functionally throughout the Marine business unit to synergize with all marketing teams, coordinate events, leveraging resources to reach business goals
What you need to be successful:
Marketing or Business Degree
5+ years of marketing experience; 2+ years' experience w direct reports
Proficiency in the latest marketing systems, technologies and integrations, or willingness to learn
Proficiency with Microsoft suite of Office products
Some travel is required. Approximately 10-15%
Experience in the marine industry and with marine products is a plus, but not required
Knowledge of IoT and cloud-based products and systems is a plus, but not required
Ability to self-direct and work independently in the achievement of business goals
Ability to communicate and coordinate across many different teams and functions including international
