Manage the entire sales cycle-from lead generation and product demonstrations to proposal development, leasing approval guidance, and delivery/setup of new fleets.
Represent Yamaha at local PGA Section events, seminars, and related activities to strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
Provide reports as needed, manage databases, records, and goals.
Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and tailored solutions that reinforce Yamaha's reputation for excellence.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales, with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets
Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM tools
Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, operations, finance)
Customer-focused approach with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment and lead through change
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common sales technology platforms
Willingness to travel as required 60-70% of the time.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience with the golf industry or PGA professionals preferred.
Must be able to load golf cars, climb up and down small objects and lift a moderate amount of weight.
