Communicate on items related to service issues by completing timely Yamaha Customer Relationship Management System (YCRMS) Reports, Monthly Reports and Market Information Reports.
Work with District Marketing Managers to improve the dealer network by coordinating assigned Boat Shows and responding to unassigned inquiries.
Present annual Marine Technical update seminars, as assigned (i.e., arranging invitations, curriculum training and answering product questions).
Provide technical support for the corporate display at boat shows, OEM events, fishing tournaments, and other events, as required.
Manage a business travel budget, keeping current and accurate all required expense documentation and maintain company issued vehicles, equipment, and Yamaha supplies.
What you need to be successful:
Associates degree (preferably in Marine Technology), or equivalent Marine industry Service certifications.
Minimum 3-5 years' Marine industry Service experience, troubleshooting and repairing outboard engines.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in rigging and maintenance of boat fuel and electrical systems (may run concurrently with Service experience).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to effectively navigate and utilize computer systems and business applications.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service while resolving technical issues within a dealership, another division of Yamaha Motor Corporation, or a boat manufacturer preferred.
Demonstrated strong administrative and written communication skills.
Experience developing and delivering training materials in a classroom setting is preferred.
Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
