    Position summary

    and maintaining methods of tracking, forecasting, presenting, and managing portfolio performance, coordinating and implementing financing programs and policies. Ensure efficient operations with vendors, dealers, and internal sales groups.
    What you'll be doing:
    • Lead key risk initiatives like scorecard development, strategy design and adjustments. Perform quantitative analysis and monitor company's credit, collateral, and customer performance.
    • Maintain/Approve/Guide credit policy and underwriting controls in Loan Management System (DeFi).
    • Develop automated scoring and decisioning systems to improve business efficiency
    • Conduct comprehensive analyses to assess levels of credit risk- including summarizing results with opinions and recommendations for actions.
    • Develop statistical models, machine learning-based tools or processes to measure and manage business performance
    • Apply SAS and database knowledge to evaluate and develop risk management strategies.
    • Evaluate the adequacy of internal processes and reduce all forms of exposure ranging from credit risk, efficiency/cost and regulatory impact.
    • Develop, recommend, and implement business strategies to manage credit risk, increase revenues, and reduce exposure to credit losses.
    • Predict the future trends from the current developments in the economy and recommend the management accordingly to plan the strategies.
    • Monitor and assess the post-implementation impact of risk management strategies.
    • Liaison with and maintain relationship with Scorecard and Decision Engine service provider.
    • Ensure credit risk reports are comprehensive, accurate and timely
    • Ad hoc reporting. If necessary, meet with internal and external customers to establish requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with users at all levels throughout the organization.
    • Experience with performance management, compliance and regulatory, finance, negotiation, contracting and relationship management is desired.
    What you'll need to be successful:
    • 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration, statistics, economics, finance or a closely related quantitative field
    • 10 -12 years of working experience with at least 2 years in managerial role
    • Experience in Auto, Motorcycle lending or installment industry
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to present data to Senior Management
    • Strong interpersonal and planning skills, and ability to interact seamlessly with all levels of management (internal and external).
    • Experience in Credit Card origination risk and portfolio management area
    • Master's degree in computer science or Statistics
    • Model development experience
    • SQL / Oracle, SAS
    • Breadth of experience in financial services industry

    Pay: $86,000 to $172,000

    Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha's Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
