In this role, you will:
Lead and inspire a team of 5+ world-class software engineers
Drive cross-functional collaboration with autonomy, QA, and validation teams to deliver mission-critical features
Architect and oversee the implementation of next-generation simulation capabilities
Cultivate a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Proven track record in developing top talent and building high-performing engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects from conception to delivery, with experience in creating and executing strategic roadmaps
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical field
3+ years of engineering management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Expert-level programming skills in C++, with proficiency in Python
Bonus Qualifications
Experience in simulation, robotics, or autonomous systems is highly desirable
Strong aptitude for understanding and solving complex technical challenges for specialized end-users, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $210,000 to $300,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
