A Little Update About Fairygodboss (It Involves Money)
You know that Barenaked Ladies song, “If I Had A Million Dollars?”
Though we’re not going to spend it on fancy ketchup, we are playing the song today at Fairygodboss HQ because we feel pretty great about closing our seed financing round.
It seems the perfect keynote to start International Women’s Day 2017, a day that we’re celebrating alongside millions (if not billions) of women.
We started this company two years ago (today!) when our co-founder Georgene was looking to hear from other women about their experiences and opinions about their jobs and workplaces. Since then we’ve helped over a million women get advice, jobs and the inside scoop on companies from other women. Along the way, we’ve built an amazing (and growing) team. And we’ve met some incredible companies and employers who really walk the talk on gender equality.
From the classroom to the boardroom, we believe something powerful happens when women use their voices and join forces. Thank you for being part of our journey!
