13 Ways Fairygodboss Can Help You Right Now

Every month, millions of women come to Fairygodboss to find jobs, research employer ratings and reviews and get advice that matters. 1. Join the largest career network for women.

The Fairygodboss Feed is a place where you can connect with other women to get your career questions answered, share your experiences and offer other Fairygodboss members impactful advice. You can easily engage in conversations on various pertinent topics, including job searches, stress management and workplace diversity; or join a group and speak with women who share your unique interests.  

2. Customize your profile and stand out to recruiters.

You can update your Fairygodboss profile at any time by visiting your profile page. Adding your experience and education helps you stand out to recruiters and increase your visibility to other members of Fairygodboss. Beyond your experience and education, you can also add professional skills, dream companies, an "About Me" statement and a link to your website. 

3. Get the career advice and support you need.

The Fairygodboss community is here to help you get the answers you need to any career questions you may have. Post your question, thoughts or experience to the Community Feed for all members to see and offer advice, encouragement and support. You always have the option to post anonymously! We send FGB’ers notifications about the posts and comments they create, so you’ll easily see when people comment on or reply to anything you share.

4. Find jobs at companies that want to hire you. 

Our job search experience offers FGB’ers a personalized dashboard of job recommendations that:

• Reflects your search history
• Suggests job alerts and email notifications that you may add or edit
• Enables you to follow companies that interest you (including their latest job postings and employee reviews)
• Allows you to save jobs you’ve browsed and would like to review later
• Offers a search filter by company or location, including exclusively remote positions

5. Expand your network.

The easiest way to add connections is to invite the people you know to join Fairygodboss. A lot of women invite colleagues, mentors, friends, or family members. When they accept your invitations, they'll automatically be connected to you. You can also connect with other FGB'ers who are already on the platform by searching their profiles — via usernames or brief handle information — and click the "invite to connect" button at the bottom of their profiles.

To send someone a message, make sure that you’re first connected to them (and send them an invite if you aren’t).
