This commitment is nothing new — PNC has championed female entrepreneurs, working moms, and women financial decision-makers for decades. Today, women make up almost 60% of its workforce and one-third of both its Board of Directors and senior leadership team.

PNC doesn’t just talk the talk — it also walks the walk with benefits and programs that positively impact employees and align with the company’s values.

For example, PNC offers an expansive Family Building Reimbursement Program to eligible employees, which includes reimbursement of up to $2,000 per pregnancy for eligible birth doula expenses. Doulas have been shown to reduce infant and maternal mortality as well as to prevent many other health issues during birth, which impact BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) women at significantly higher rates.* PNC will also reimburse eligible adoption-related expenses up to $20,000 for eligible full-time employees (lifetime limit) and $10,000 for eligible part-time employees (lifetime limit).

A surrogacy reimbursement is offered as well. PNC will reimburse eligible expenses (such as legal fees, gestational carrier expenses, and more) up to $20,000 for eligible full-time employees (lifetime limit)and $10,000 for eligible part-time employees (lifetime limit). 

Plus, those enrolled in PNC medical coverage can access all in-network telehealth services at no out-of-pocket cost this year. This includes expanded mental health support through a vendor partner that offers quick, convenient access to care through a broad network of diverse providers (33% specialize in LGBTQ+ needs and 40% are BIPOC), with new appointments in two to three days. Separately, PNC offers all employees, regardless of whether they are enrolled in PNC’s medical coverage, seven no-cost Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) counseling sessions per year, per issue, as well as for family members in their home.

On top of helping cover the finances of family planning, PNC also offers app-based fertility, pregnancy, and parenting resources to all employees at no cost, regardless of medical coverage. 

The benefits and programs don’t end there! PNC also offers a best-in-class education benefit through its partnership with Guild. This includes a curated catalog of tuition-free bachelor’s and associate degrees, professional certificates, and college prep courses in a wide range of fields of study.
