Hello everyone.
I just got laid off again for the second time in the last year. Both times stating over hiring employees and not meeting projected profits, and that it wasn't anything to do with my work performance.
I'm honestly starting to feel defeated, it is hard trying to get a leg up when employers can just pull the rug out from under you at any moment.
I'm so sorry to hear this. It's okay to let yourself be disheartened, yet again. However, think through how you can use this as apart of your story (in interviews) that shows your personal and professional grit, resilience, and problem solving. These are attributes of someone that people would LOVE to have on their team.
Keep going!!!!
I can completely relate. The whole right to work is only benefitting employers as far as I'm concerned. Just getting through 2 years at one employer is a major feat these days.
I'm so sorry and I completely agree. This economy has employers in a reactive mode.
