I’m currently looking for a stable, well-paying role in program coordination, sustainability, or communications and would love any advice or leads! I have a background in program coordination, grant writing, communications, and research, with experience in nonprofits, early childhood education, and community-focused initiatives. My nonprofit internships and work have provided experience in outreach, advocacy, and content creation for social media and other platforms. I’m particularly interested in roles involving sustainability, policy, or communications. (I've really liked the look of companies focused on funding women, like Kahawa Coffee or Mahila Money, but I don't always see roles posted by those companies.) After doing some research and getting great suggestions, I’ve narrowed my focus to the following roles: Program Manager (strategic planning and coordination) Program Coordinator Business Analyst (process improvement) Technical Writer Content Strategy Analyst (analytical writing, research-driven) Research Writing Specialist (academic/corporate research) Communications Coordinator / Specialist Sustainability Coordinator Environmental Program Coordinator I’m currently in Minnesota and trying to make my way out to Oregon, ideally near the coast. I’m looking for a remote role, preferably with an Oregon-based company, but I’m open to anything that would make relocating more feasible. If you know of any companies or organizations that might be a good fit or have insights on transitioning into sustainability and communications roles, I’d really appreciate the help. I’m also an introvert and prefer to stay out of customer service roles. I’m looking for a position where I can focus on writing, research, program coordination, or strategy without being in a high-volume customer-facing environment. I enjoy managing projects rather than directly managing people.
