Working with other Millennials?
Hello,
Do you work with other millennials? Or predominately another generation? What's been your experience?
Also, if you havent already, introduce yourselves :)
Yeah just me and my boss. There was a fallout with the other person who used to be in the office and his last day was last week. Yes, I think that is an important topic. For me it was always been pretty easy to get along with much older colleagues... as old as twice my age (aka you could be my parent/aka you've been working for as long and I have been alive!). Aside from a relationship like with the CEO or the owner of the company, even with SVP or VPs, I was able to establish rapport but that didn't come easily. There was certainly a learning curve and a few mistakes. That topic would be great Alice. Let's get it rolling, girl!
I work for a company that is distributed throughout the entire world but here in my office it is just my (male) boss (57) and I... While I left my previous company in not the best terms, I do miss being surrounded by others my same age (between 28-32) or slightly older (35-38).
OMG just you and 1 other person? One of the things I want to talk about (posting shortly) is tips on how to connect to your older colleagues. Please add anything you would like to share!
