Path Forward is a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower people to restart their careers after time spent focused on caregiving.
We fulfill this mission by working with companies to create and run mid-career internships — also known as “returnships” — that give women and men who have taken time off for caregiving a jump start back into a professional career, while also giving companies access to a diverse, untapped talent force. For current returnship opportunities please visit our participant page. We are inspired and humbled each day by the work we do and are hoping to use our unique platform to foster a dialogue and sense of community for anyone who is thinking of going back to work, currently navigating the uncertainty of a new job, struggling to find a more challenging career path, or simply feels that some days you need a little extra support. From strategies for working with your manager or incorporating feedback to tips for taking the stress out of your morning routine, balancing family time, and creating work / life boundaries, the more voices the better!Hi there! Our returnships are not location-restricted, but we generally discourage people from relocating to take a returnship since there is no guarantee of employment at the end. However, we realize that everyone's situation is unique, and that you may be willing to take on the added risk. Our hiring partners make all decisions on who to interview and who to hire, so you'd need to be prepared to address the relocation and why it would not be a potential concern if you are brought in for interviews. Wishing you the best of luck on your return to work!
Thank you!
Hello!
Do Path Forward returnships accept candidates from out-of-state?
