I love my kids but I definitely have this kind of thought sometimes!

I can so relate to this. My son was very intelligent and very verbose. He NEVER stopped talking. Everything he thought came out his mouth. A lot of it stopped me in my tracks as I didn't know how to answer the questions and Google was not yet available. I learned to redirect him to go look up what he wanted to know and then share what he learned with me. We both learned a lot. It gave me breaks between the questions and I could also download sheets of stuff for him to learn and fill out or games that he had to answer the questions to get the number or word to answer the question on the page that led eventually to a picture or something to color in or be revealed. It sounds like a lot but if you spend half an hour printing out these "learning games sheets" then you just hand them a sheet and go from there. I need help on how to motivate my teenage daughter to do her homework. She is so NOT into it.
