    • The maternity leave is not generous at 6 weeks of paid leave and 6 weeks of STD. The last two weeks of the STD is not at full pay. But most managers are understanding and will work with you. Still, I think Dell is way below standard in this area. Women shouldn't have to "work it out" on their own. Leave policies should be clear, generous, and available to everyone.

    • The 401K match is an excellent benefit. Historically it was capped at 5% but I believe they are increasing it to 6%. If you work at Dell it's crazy not to sign up for the full amount. Free money!
