US Foods has a dedicated ERG for our female associates. Women in Network (WIN) is founded on the idea that bringing women together in community and offering guidance and insight can help them achieve personal and professional growth as well as contribute to improved gender equity.
We strive to create opportunities that will enable women to network effectively at US Foods across markets and functions as well as between corporate and field teams.
With women contributing across all functions and levels, we are in the unique position of sharing and learning from a wealth of diversity in experience and thought that will help our members Make It.
Individuals of all gender identities are welcome and encouraged to participate! We believe this creates an opportunity to improve gender equity and help our broader communities Make It.
Our new Way of Working is about flexibility in where and how our associates work. It's about working in a way that makes sense for a person's role at US Foods and keeps our associates connected to one another. Our Flexible Work Policy offers varying degrees of flexibility based on objective criteria and the needs of the role. Associates in Blended roles come into the office to collaborate and engage in key moments with colleagues 8 days per month, with the flexibility to work the remaining 12 days anywhere in the Continental US. Associates in Remote roles have the flexibility to live and work wherever they want within the Continental US 100% of the time. They also have the option to go into satellite locations near their homes to engage in culture and connection events if they choose.
Associates receive 6-8 weeks of short term disability depending on birth type (c-section/vaginal). Disability time may be extended by the US Foods disability vendor based on provider's request and the medical documentation to substantiate the disability.
US Foods partners with Kindercare to offer a 15% discount off of the standard weekly or monthly tuition rates for full-time or part- time child care services for any child (by birth, adoption, guardianship, or stepchild) of any US Foods associate.
