We are driven by our talent. GE Vernova’s Digital Business is investing in its teams and technologies to transform how industry solves its toughest challenges. Our teams drive better customer experiences, embedding powerful analytics and innovate new cyber security capabilities for customers across the manufacturing, utility, power generation and oil & gas sectors.
We’re on a mission to bring simplicity, speed and scale to our customers’ digital transformation initiatives with software that helps them to better operate, analyze and optimize their business processes.
Gabrielle Dimoff is a Lead ADMS Delivery Project Engineer, Delivery Manager for the Grid business in GE Digital In this role, Gabrielle works closely with customers to understand and define requirements, develop technical proposals, and set expectations for software implementations/upgrades and interface projects. She act as the technical lead, as well as an individual contributor, on these engagements, contributing to software implementation, troubleshooting, customization, and integration into customer systems while balancing scope versus project time and resource commitments.
Gabrielle appreciates the collaborative nature of the teams at GE Digital and finds coworkers are willing to share their knowledge and lend their help. In addition to her engineering work, Gabrielle is also the regional chair for the GE Digital Women's Network Central region, organizing quarterly meetings to support women at GE. This opportunity with the network let Gabrielle get leadership experience within her first year working at GE Digital.
Currently, Ritu Jain serves as the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer. Ritu has been with GE for 15 years in various roles ranging from Finance & audit to Compliance. Prior to Digital she was in GE Corporate leading governance and assurance program for compliance. She met Digital General Counsel, Rich Foehr and learned about the Compliance and Risk Officer role.
Prior to Digital, her experience at GE was largely at industrial businesses like Energy and Power. Digital offered a unique opportunity to step into the tech industry. This was an area that provided both a challenge and opportunity to learn a new industry. She feels lucky to be part of a very collaborative legal, governance and policy department.
Her move to Digital was accompanied with major personal changes in her life; she relocated with her family to the US in 2022 and became a first-time parent. Despite starting a new role and making these major life changes, her journey was super smooth - all thanks to the support I received from her manager and her team. Having their support made her transition seamless and she was able to go on maternity and come back without any hiccups.
She is optimistic about the impact the Digital business will have on the new GE Vernova and the future of energy transition. The right software is critical to modernization of grid and driving efficiencies in industrial and power generation operations. With the leadership we have and the clarity of strategy, we are well placed into becoming a key growth lever for GE Vernova.
She is also obsessed with world history and always looking for books, historical fiction and podcasts that relate to history. Always ready for new recommendations!
Anee’s journey to GE Digital has been an interesting one. Prior to GE, she worked at Robert Half, which was located in the building next to the GE Digital San Ramon office. Her previous people leader at Digital used to joke that she walked out of Robert Half with her box and just moved into GE Digital….and they all have a good laugh! But the true story is, eight years ago, she saw the ads for GE Digital and how a company, relatively lesser known in the software world, had this grand vision to change the software world, and she was very intrigued by that vision. She actively approached a couple of her friends who worked at GE and much to her surprise, found a role that she was interested in. She applied for it, went through the interview process and as they say – the rest is history. She has held multiple roles at GE – across Product & Engineering, Sales and Partner Alliance, Finance and IT. She is currently the Global Services leader for the Grid Analytics segment.
What does she enjoy most about working at GE Digital? The people and the common goal we all share – solving the tough problems in the energy industry that our customers face is what she enjoys the most at GE. GE is a special place for her because here is where she made the subtle change in her focus as a purely software person working in the Hi-Tech space to the energy sector - where she feels her work matters more because the work we do at GE Digital helps to power 1/3rd of the world. GE is also special to her because she has been fortunate to have been nominated for the prestigious Executive Leadership Program ( XLP), from which she graduated in 2020 after multiple stints at other GE Businesses. In this program, she worked alongside other GE people, solving some of the toughest problems like sustainability, bringing more renewables to the world, and using Artificial Intelligence to predict storm intensity and outage/damage etc.
She feels It has been a privilege to be associated with the Women’s Network and other Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) across GE. As she has progressed through her career, many women have stood behind her and supported her; at times, she has stood on their shoulders to get to where she is today. She is passionate about giving it back to the community and supporting other women like herself in their individual journeys. The ERG’s in GE have given her the opportunity to give back, to bring more awareness to the diversity that we have in the GE workforces and build a better workplace where everyone belongs and thrives.
Also, there are so many thing to look forward to! GE Digital becoming a strong pillar of the GE Vernova business is an exciting next step for all of us. Personally, she is excited about the Generative AI work that is happening in the Grid Analytics world. This has the potential to help our customers achieve their Carbon Neutral and Sustainability goals in ways that we may have never imagined. This is the most exciting part of her job.
She identifies as a “wannabe” chef and cooks to destress. Her neighbors love it when she is stressed, because they know she will be cooking with a vengeance and her food will show up at their door. She also teaches a community cooking class in her neighborhood. Her most popular class is the one where she teaches the group how to make “Assam Fish”.
