      Women's Network (WN) – The WN was created in 1997 to attract, develop, inspire, and retain female professional talent. It is all about growth. It exists for the women working at GE to cultivate their leadership skills, business practices, personal contacts, and career opportunities. By engaging and developing their membership in areas such as technology, operations, and commercial roles, they are promoting growth leaders who will ensure both their career success and GE’s growth as a company. 

      Project Shine – Shine is an internal, project-based development program geared toward early career professionals who identify as women. Throughout the duration of their participation, these young women experience networking opportunities and virtual-led classroom learning around topics such as building personal brand, inclusion and diversity, and so on. Programs like this are critical to growing our talent pipeline at GE Vernova.

      Ezra Coaching – We work with an external vendor to provide targeted and individualized career coaching to women primarily at the mid-early to mid-career stages of their professional journey. These women work closely with their coach and people leader to determine focus areas and identify potential opportunities to practice their learnings on the job. 

      Sponsorship – With so few women in the STEM field, and much less in leadership, we have a dedicated sponsorship program for our senior professional women in Engineering. This opportunity allows more actional feedback on their career journey and ensures they are being exposed to the right network and opportunities for career progression.

      Returnity Series - The monthly Returnity series focuses on supporting women who have recently made the return to work from maternity leave. Returning from leave is an important one and can often be difficult (mentally, physically, logistically, unexpectedly) – and we want our mothers to know that they are not alone. These are 1-hour sessions with a speaker to kick off followed by break-out groups to facilitate open forum sharing and get to the heart of the conversation. The intent is to leverage our village to support each other - through sharing stories on how we managed the return to work, working mom-hacks, and frankly just giving permission to ‘feel’ and hold space for a very difficult and trying transition.
