SAFETY. SERVICE. COMMUNITY.
The Johns Hopkins Police Department (JHPD) is accepting applications for new and seasoned professional officers who understand the importance of protecting our university community through a service-focused approach. We are committed to our 30x30 pledge to improve and expand the representation and experiences of women in sworn positions in all ranks, ensure policies and procedures are free of bias, promote equitable hiring, retention, and promotion of women officers, and ensure a culture that is inclusive, respectful and supportive of women in law enforcement.
As a progressive leader in public safety, we are committed to the equitable delivery of police services that prioritize the well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and campus guests. We aim to establish trust through collaboration with our community partners, creating a secure and inclusive space.
At Johns Hopkins, we strive to be a model of a pluralistic society in which we acknowledge, embrace, and engage diverse identities, perspectives, and experiences. The JHPD embraces diversity and has specifically taken the 30x30 pledge to improve and expand the representation and experiences of women in sworn positions in all ranks.
