"Alation respects their employees' personal lives and encourages everyone to take time off when necessary or when things are slow. There is zero discrimination against women in the workforce - however, there has recently been a spate of removals of women executives at the top level (in 2022). Nevertheless, there are plenty of female managers across the company, and no special treatment meted out to any groups."

"All employees are treated equal and have a voice. There is interest in feedback at every level. The leadership actively encourages you to have interests outside of work. Senior managers are evaluated on whether they are encouraging of their team members' professional development. "

"Most of the teams have members across countries, so the culture is very asynchronous in communication. Employees are encouraged to block parts of their day for lunch or commitments such as picking up kids from school, or just me time. Most of the exec staff still work remotely and occasionally from different time zones. "
