"Your experience will depend entirely on your country director and field coordinator. They have an incredible amount of latitude and little to no oversight from HQ. This can be quite toxic. Mentor ship and continuing education is virtually nonexistent. Country director and field coordinator also refuse to write letters of recommendation across the board. They will only verify that you worked for them. This is a huge problem for career development."
