"Because this is a healthcare system, there are plenty of female clinically trained (RN, Pharmacy, Lab/Xray/Respiratory techs) who make their way into management and then into leadership. Our current CEO is a nurse by trade and an excellent system leader. There is room for female leadership and there is not a glass ceiling for opportunities. I have seen pay practices vary in the business roles women are supporting, and cases where a man and a woman doing the same job are not paid the same."

"St John Providene Health System review DON"T. It's a massive waste of your time. They don't care about you. They hide behind a 'faith-based' banner, and they are ruthless to their employees. Both male and female managers ad directors will hire men over women. If they can keep you in a 'ipnk ghetto,' they will. They are as misogynistic toward women as their Catholic policies are toward birth control. "

"No maternity leave; have to use short-term disability and PTO. HR is dramatically understaffed and slow. Senior leadership is insular, out of touch, and patronizing. Unaware of how savvy/strategic they are, as they do not communicate to next level of leaders (e.g. VPs). "

"No Maternity Leave. Policy is seven days of Personal Time Off (PTO) - (if the associate doesn't have PTO it is non-paid leave), followed by five weeks of short term disability. All remaining time is PTO followed by non-paid time. Essentially, if you have a baby in January, after having a child and returning to work you will have no PTO the rest of the year and will have to take non-paid time when your child gets sick and needs to be picked up from daycare or has a dr. appointment, or you get sick. . . . etc. "
