"The owners and management are all older men. They're a really tightly-knit group, and they are very passionate about the company. However, their closeness blinds them to the reality that female employees experience. I experienced sexual advances from more than one male colleague, and when I confronted my supervisor, I was told I should "keep my personal life private." Another woman was fired after rejecting the advances of the owner, because it made the "chemistry feel weird" afterwards. I also noticed a tendency to blame female employees for any mishaps that occurred, even when it was clearly unfair. The women at this company are held to a much higher standard than the men, and are still treated with mistrust. "
