"My experience as an American woman working in Singapore has been very negative. I was hired by a female HR Director for a leadership position, and was demoted a year later by my male boss, with the only criticism being personality based. I have been told by the same female HR Director that I need to be more subservient, less strong, and not put forward my own agenda while leading."
