"If you are comfortable with technology and multi-tasking and are reliable, it can be a relatively easy, great job because it is a "time card punching" job; when you log out for the day, you are done--no one will bother you. I loved that part of it! However, because it's a 24/7 Call Center, sometimes you have to work weekends and Holidays; however, after the first year, the PTO policy becomes pretty generous but you have to be a planner and put your time off requests in weeks or months in advance. If you don't have kids--or your kids are grown--it can be great. If you do have kids but have reliable childcare--including back-up if your kids get sick--it's also very doable. "

"CMS is a 24/7 Call Center so, just like a hospital, customer service representatives (operators/dispatchers) are essential worker so "flexibility" is not synonymous with the job! Of course, if you are sick and can't work, you can call out but the company asks that you try and do a switch with another operator (if possible). Also, if you really want to go to special family events, you have to plan ahead and ask for time off months in advance because only 2 operators per shift/day can be out on PTO. "
