"Definitely better than most companies I've worked at, but unfortunately the use of flexible hours benefits are up to the individual's manager. If that manager is old fashioned and doesn't believe in working in working remote, they won't grant the benefit to anyone. "

"Collins is predominately white male dominated, but does a pretty good job being inclusive of females and POC. Recent policy changes regarding parental leave for employees expanding their families has been great. We used to only have short-term disability for "maternity leave." Now primary/birthing parents can receive 12 weeks off fully paid and non-primary can have 4 weeks fully-paid."

"It seems as if the company is trying to say the right things as far as equality in the workplace. But at almost every level, it just doesn't seem to actually equate into action. "

"The company is definitely in transition - but due to a lack of defined policies, it is very much manager by manager (rather than a case by case if it is necessary). One manager will allow work from home or flex time while another doing the same type of functions will not with their only reasoning being that they do not want the company to perceive their employees as not hard working or promotable. Due to a lack of define policy and the complete lack of performance reviews now, it depends completely on your specific manager the level of flexibility that you will be afforded"

"They have policies in place for flexible work schedules, but some groups are not as comfortable with this. Make sure you are comfortable with your supervisor as all sites operate very differently."
