"Overall there are more women than men in the company and women are represented very well in the most senior positions. Our COO and several of our business leaders are women which helps set the tone from the top. "

"Be prepared to be reviewed more harshly than your male counterparts. They'll be able to have more flexibility with their schedules and job duties. They are allowed to say no to something they don't want to do. As a woman you will not be afforded those privileges. "

"From my experience, CRL didn't treat men and women differently. We were all treated as children, no matter what gender. There was absolutely no flexibility, no maternity or paternity leave, poor health insurance, poor work-life balance, etc. When I was pregnant, I told my managers that particular features of my work environment was making me feel light-headed and ill. They "sympathized" but wouldn't make any changes I suggested to accommodate me. Prior to me, the pumping room was a supply closet, but when I complained, they did outfit a very nice pumping room after that."

"It depends a lot on contract to contract, but at the two sites/ contracts I worked for, there was almost no flexibility. If the start time was 8, we had to be there at 8 on the dot. 8:01 was late and you could be disciplined for it. There was no negotiating later or earlier start times. Lunch had to be taken at the same time every day. Leave could not be rolled over from year to year, so you couldn't save it up for emergencies or maternity leave."
Did you take Maternity leave?

0 Weeks Paid | 8 Weeks Unpaid
"They claim to provide 6 weeks of Short-term disability at 60% of your normal pay. However, those 6 weeks include 2 weeks of unpaid wait time. So going out on maternity leave looks like this: 2 weeks unpaid, 4 weeks at 60% of your pay, then come back to work OR take up to 6 more weeks unpaid (using FMLA). There is no true maternity leave offered.
At my site, they don't allow sick or vacation leave to roll-over, so its impossible to save up enough leave to cover the unpaid weeks of maternity leave."

"It is a good place to work that is focused on expansion and not afraid to promote women into positions of influence. Flexibility and work life balance is highly dependent on location and job function. No official maternity leave policy in writing. "

"The number of weeks paid are dependent on using STD. New policy for 2018 is employees with 6+ months of service but not more than 4 are paid 60% for 5 weeks, after 1 week waiting period. 4-5 year service are paid 80% and those with 6 or more years are paid 100%. "
