"I would never recommend any woman to work for CSX in the T&E (Train and Engine) field. The job is what it is, but the open harassment and hostility, especially by the older employees and management that allows and encourages this behavior, all because they don't believe women should be working in a "Man's Field" is ridiculous. If a woman wanted a career in railroading, I would highly recommend Canadian National and BNSF. They do more than provide lip service when it comes to hiring a diverse work force. With much regret, the same can not openly be said for CSX."

"Very male dominated with a tough culture; minimal diversity efforts beyond lip service"

"Progress made over the past 10 years has reverted as a result of new management brought on by activist investor. It’s like we’ve stepped back in time to the 1960s. "
