"Speak up and be confident. Don't sabotage yourself by pointing out your mistakes and 'lack of qualification', the more confident folks (a lot of them men) don't. They take on tasks even when they don't know what to do, and confidently present themselves as experts even if they may not have developed that expertise yet. Less confident folks (primarily speaking about myself) should do the same thing, a lot of times we are just as qualified (or more qualified) as others for a project, but may fear our limitations. I've found that confident folks just ignore their limitations and move on anyway, that's what we need to to. "
