"I recommend managing up well; work on that skill and practice weekly. Get involved in extracurricular activities to make connections and get name recognition. Take time out every other week to celebrate others in the "cheers" Slack channel and contribute monthly to the "bizdev" channel where you're sharing news on startups, delivery, etc. It'll help make work visible and celebrate your colleagues (and yourself). "
