"So many unsatisfied employees, particularly women employees. A very Toxic workplace with a great deal of sexism. Dakota State University has a terrible habit of high expectations met with very low support, understanding, and compensation. To put it simply, they stretch people too thin. This is not a sustainable work environment unless you are in the top pay scale. Unfortunately, pay is not equitable between colleges. This is a business who puts numbers before the quality of education provided. This is a business that focuses on “how” and not “why” they do what they do. This is a business that enforces policy to cut pay but does not enforce policy that clearly states when compensation is due. This is a business with a culture of unconscious incompetence. Talent is not recognized or supported. There is a very high turnover rate. I would not recommend accepting a job here.
