"I would tell them that this is an incredible company to be a part of with really great benefits. The CEO is very sharp and smart but also recognizes that happy people make happy employees. He likes having company functions/gatherings and enjoys team building exercises. He’s surrounded at work by a lot of strong, powerful women that contribute a lot to the company and have all been with the company for most of their adult lives. If a woman is interested in working with this company and are thinking of creating or adding to their family now or in the near future, I would say this is maybe not the right company for them. If the woman has no intentions of having children or is past the age of giving birth, then I would encourage them to apply. For having a CEO that is so progressive and forward thinking, it’s kind of shocking to know that the company has a very negative and poor maternity leave policy. "

"It depends on what your position is. Obviously if you are upper management, and do your job well, you have a lot of flexibility (working from home, ability to negotiate a raise and vacation time mostly). If you are not a member of upper management, no matter how well you do your job, the likelyhood of being able to work from home here or there is a battle and those positions (non upper management positions) don’t really change so there’s not a lot of hope for a promotion. Flexibility at the company treats men and women the same, just offers much more to those in upper management. "
