Hospitals are a great place to work. Better if you are a Provider, but good for everyone.

The company culture has shifted and is not as friendly in terms of on site / wfh flexibility as it used to be. The women in power are hesitant to help other women rise up to leadership or power positions.

I'd say, be prepared for what you think is going to happen. Men are going to hit on you because you're a chick in games, they're going to expect you to know nothing. But it's okay, because your coworkers know you're more than capable, and they wouldn't have hired you if you weren't.

GameStop is very flexible in that the market is all about change, especially when something doesn't benefit the company as a whole.

December 2016

Upper management seems to really understand women's needs and respond to them by creating policies (flexible working hours..). I am not afraid having kids will cause a setback in my career. They do need to focus on getting more women into male dominated departments.

As soon as I told HR I had developed a disability, I was outcasted and pushed out the door. I would suggest not telling them.
