"Most management is male. Women who are in management are not at the top so they don’t make decisions. The few women who are in some position of power are older and do not attempt to make work life balance important for mothers. The pay is also very low for the industry so it’s hard to work as much as we do while also paying for daycare "

"Senior leadership is encouraging to have the conversations to include more women in leadership roles. Traditionally a male dominated field (EH&S), initiatives are being made to make this happen."

"This can be a great place to work if you're looking for flexibility. As a policy there's no paid maternity leave, but the company does provide private STD coverage that will partially compensate you while you're disabled immediately after giving birth (6 - 8 weeks, typically). The benefits are very good, though the employee contributions are high, especially if you have a family. There's not a lot of opportunity for upward advancement, but if you're on the sales side (aka, producer) you can make good money. "

"I was able to take 20 weeks be combining PDL, FMLA and CFRA (and I had a really complicated pregnancy). The company basically supports what's required by law in your state. Outside of CA, that's likely up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave. "
