"There are a lot of women in leadership at Lovelace, and in general, they support each other. In administration at least, it can be a very positive place to work, with other women who understand work-life balance and issues you may face in the workplace. The one thing they could improve is their policies -- they're somewhat outdated. They don't have a work-from-home policy in place and their IT infrastructure may not support it, anyway. This is generally OK since they focus on healthcare, but it can feel a little unforgiving if you're not in the healthcare side of things. Their parental leave policy is extremely basic -- it's FMLA, more or less, and then any vacation time you may have saved up. This seems unfortunate for a company that should understand how important time off after giving birth (or even adopting a child) is to the future health of the family, but it is what it is. "
