"It’s easy to get stuck in uncomfortable situations here and there isn’t much you can do about it. HR is very slow acting. "

"You can make your own opportunities here which is a huge benefit but I would say there is still a lot of cynicism about women who are "aggressive" in their careers. "

"Flexibility depends highly on the mid-level manager you are working for. Company policies are not clear. If you are lucky, you get a flexible manager. If not, you get a bad annual review during a pandemic year when your 18 month old's nanny gets sick and daycare is closed."

"I have had strong managers and weak ones here. While my current manager is supportive in the sense that she believes in the work I am doing, she has also told me that I need to be gentler in my approach, try apologizing when I ask someone to do something, and has addressed my ambition as a negative aspect of my performance."
