"I would tell another woman that, this company, like most corporate environments, is a work in progress. We have 2 women in leadership positions (just at the SVP title, no c-suite :) ) and FMLA is a joke BUT, if you are looking for a very flexible job in a changing environment, you can grow a little here! The way I see it is, the experience you gain here will help get you any job in the future or if you are interested in one day starting your own business or doing freelance work, this is a great place to rack up experience and save money before doing so. "While things at HQ are very flexible (depending on your department), things in the local offices are not! this should be more across the board. Dress for your day and a flexible schedule are things most HQ employees enjoy so I can't complain there. Also, some people (like me) are very flexible on the dress for your day so that is great. "

"it is offered as short term disability that has to be approved by your manager and the HR department. it's only 5 weeks at 60 or 80% of your salary. no other parental leave benefits or childcare help is included. "

"The president shared that he wants to have more diversity and inclusion within the company. We newly (within the past year or so) created a Diversity and Inclusion Board, but it is going to take time to see any change - especially within leadership."
