"The benefits and time off (combined PTO/sick time) are mediocre at best. Support staff, a majority of which being women are paid a wage that is barely above poverty. Unexpected time off is on a points system so anything less than a days notice will quickly get you reprimanded. If you are looking for a job in healthcare for better health benefits, look elsewhere, you'll pay top dollar to see any provider within the Nebraska Medicine health system and they do nothing to cut employee medical expenses. The people in your department are the glue that will keep you there and they are lucky to have so many incredible people working for them"
