"The experience and personality of your manager is the key to your experience here. A calming manager who is comfortable in their position can protect your whole department. An inexperienced one, or one who lashes out can throw the whole team into chaos."

"Your experience totally depends on your department and direct supervisor. In general, the official policy seems to be a resentment of employees. Individual departments can be much better. The company is trying to improve equity, but has a long way to go. "

"I saved my sick and vacation time for 8 years to try to have enough time if I ever wanted to have a baby. my male supervisor did not understand that leave is unpaid and that FMLA leave is not as great a deal if you are not paid and the only wage earner in a couple for the time being. "
