"Being a woman at this company is difficult, and even more so if you're on the technical side. Every team and area is different, but the general culture is about 20 years behind, and incredibly slow to change because every suggestion is met with "we've always done it this way and have been very successful, so there's no need to change"."

Would you recommend Physical Sciences Inc. to other women?
"This is a great place to work hard and learn a lot. But in the long term, the long hours, tight deadlines, and stressful nature of the work doesn't allow a good work/home balance. Women who want to work here need to be ok with nearly always being the only woman in the room or meeting, as there are very few women in the technical side of the company, and there always seems to be a reason to not hire the woman applicants. Time off isn't really a thing, as you're still expected to be able to email and pick up a call while on vacation."
