"Whatever job level you come in at, that's probably where you'll be for a while, so make sure you're happy with pay/job level coming in. Be ok with low-level sexual harassment ("wow you look really pretty today" in meetings). "

"Tries to be supportive but he's new-ish and somewhat ineffective. There's not much he can actually do, since his manager (really, also my "unofficial" manager) actually calls the shots for the group."

"there are three women in the senior leadership team: me, the head of HR, and our general counsel. be aware of that dynamic. it's still fun and I learn a lot and enjoy the work, but just be aware."
