"Stay away! Toxic workplace. Managers do not care about their direct reports in most teams. Junior members are treated like slaves. Female bosses are Abusive and manipulative. "

"It’s a quality place but every department is different culturally. So good and bad areas. Lots of changes since combining with St Joseph health like outsourcing procurement and HR overseas have made my job a lot harder and more frustrating."

"From perspective of Health Plan employee- not hospital/ health system: the boss of the health plan CEO is a woman of color, which sends a nice message. I've experienced much less overt sexism here than other workplaces and there is a precedent of strong women leaders here. That said, majority of senior leadership is still white men. No paid mat leave or anything beyond FMLA but there is a designated locked pumping room on separate floor with a schedule for use. "

"There is flexibility in scheduling and you can work from home from time to time. Values family, work:life balance and giving back to the community which are awesome! Be aware that the PTO must be used for holidays as well as sick and vacation days. It seems generous at first, but when you look at all the holidays you'll see it could be much better. This company needs holiday pay and a better bonus structure."

"Be aware that Providence "nice" can be a trap for women. If you work at Providence you know what that is. Consensus is a wonderful goal, but ultimately someone has to make a decision. Management is male dominated. And although they talk the talk about the Mission, Vision, and Values, they don't walk the walk."
