"I work on the Lexia ("literacy") side of the business under the Rosetta Stone umbrella, and honestly, it's the best job I've ever had. This is the first job I have been able to work 100% remote, and I don't think I've ever been more productive in my life. My boss is incredibly supportive, encouraging, and flexible, and my colleagues are as well - there is a big emphasis on being part of a team, and we connect via video calls and Slack chats often. There are a lot of women in leadership roles, and the culture is very family-friendly. Work-life balance is extremely important, and it comes through clearly from high up - occasionally they will give us "surprise" holidays for the whole company, and they usually give us extra-long weekends for the national US holidays (ex: Friday and Monday off for Memorial Day weekend instead of just Monday). Hours, at least for my team, are very flexible to fit our personal work styles. For example, I work better early in the morning, so I typically work a 7am-4pm schedule - but if I have any appointments or interruptions during the day, my boss is fine with me taking whatever time I need and making up for it earlier/later in the week. It's a great feeling to be trusted and respected as an employee. On top of that, the vacation/sick time package is very generous and the health benefits are outstanding. The only drawback worth mentioning is that my pay is somewhat lower (perhaps 10-15%) than what I would have expected; however, in my situation, the savings in gas and tolls more than make up for the deficit, but it's something to consider when applying. Personally, as long as Lexia/RS keeps up this rare kind of diverse and employee-centric culture, I plan to stay here the rest of my career!"
