"This is a very challenging place to work. It's a nonprofit, but leadership runs it like a for-profit business. It's cutthroat, and people in general are just not kind to one another. I'd stay away. (This is a review of the network side, not the school side.)"

"Because you're working with students on a daily basis, it's important for you to show up on time and be prepared. Often times, I would get in at 6:30am and wouldn't leave until after 5pm. I also took work home with me often whether it was student work or lesson plans, and dedicated another two hours outside of the workplace. If I were going to be absent one day, I had to communicate it to my entire grade team because it impacted lunch and recess duty, prep periods, and the co-teaching model."

"It is extremely dependent on whether you are a school or Network employee, and on what team you are on. Some teams are extremely flexible. Some managers/executives know what is best for their teams and go out of their way to allow flexible schedules for their employees. However, from top down, flexibility is not encouraged. "
