"Don't work for these people. And don't get sick if you do work for them. In June, I tested positive for COVID-19. After a month of continued fevers and other symptoms, I
returned to the doctor. I was diagnosed with Long COVID.
I explained to the HR Department that my Doctor said that I was not to return to the office while the fevers continued. They asked me to have my Doctor fill out some ADA Reasonable Accommodations paperwork. My doctor complied and stated that I should be allowed to continue to work from Home, as I had been since June. My doctor further stated that it was dangerous for me to return to the office because my immune system was severely compromised. HR refused to allow this and forced me to take 6 weeks of unpaid leave. They took away my remote access. They also told me that if I was unable to return to the office at the end of the leave, my employment would be terminated."
