"Make sure you interview your manager and ask questions important to you (views on work/life, vacations, unexpected events like sick child, in climate weather). It’s important your values are in sync and you feel comfortable with him/her. Just like most jobs, your Manager will make or break you."

"It depends on the job. My only experience is in contract sales which allows flexibility on how you schedule your day. If you’re in the home office, it may be less flexible. "

      Did you take Maternity leave?
      "No"
"Maternity falls under short term disability and is 6 or 8 weeks (based on delivery method) and is FMLA eligible. Once approved, you get 100% of weekly pay up to 4 weeks, then 60% up to weekly max of $2500. The 100% benefit is once w/in a 12-month period, so if you have to take STD again w/in 12 months, PTO will be used for the first 5 business days, then the 60% will be paid thereafter. You’re eligible for STD after 90 days of active employment."
