"The Met in general is very family and woman friendly. There are certainly ways the museum can be more innovative when it comes to work-life balance and providing opportunities for growth or advancement. "

"While The Met provides a generous parental leave policy and allows for a maximum of 26 weeks' leave, I had to use my accrued sick time in order to get paid for part of it. Otherwise the leave is unpaid. "

"The Museum is filled with women, particularly at the administrative level. Benefits are great and schedules are often flexible, which is great for working moms."
