"I really loved working at UNC Charlotte and think it has a vibrant culture for both employees and students. All of the areas for improvement are really related to it being a public institution that is subject to bureaucratic rules. For example, all hours must be accounted for each week. However, they have generous leave hours and other really good benefits."

"Your experience will depend entirely on the department in which you work, and the supervisor that you have. The university as a whole does not have many resources or opportunities to support women in their career advancement."
