"This is dependent on department or division - however, most people working for UC Davis have some flexibility in their schedules and good leave policies. The newest Chancellor is a huge proponent of diversity and creating equitable opportunities for all affinity groups - When speaking of "CEO" below this refers directly to the person in charge in my particular department/school."

"The employer provides strong benefits, flexible work schedules and a deep responsibility to creating effective change, especially in URM and under-served communities. However, strong women with opinions and what is traditionally considered male traits are usually pushed out by males threatened by their strength."

"Working here is fairly good, time is flexible depending on the individual labs/research groups and the projects and I assume the existence of sexism depends on these too. I had a good overall experience, although faculty in the science and engineering department is still mostly male"
