"Unless you are a parent, don't apply to CU-Boulder. Many departments are highly preferential toward parents over single women or women without children. You will be worked to death and expected to cover for parents ad nauseam. If you have a chronic illness, good luck trying to get assistance. "

"The procedure for promotion is slow and requirements can be added to women that are not applied to men (eg extra service, teaching larger classes, managing supervisor's feelings)."
