"As an intro-level scientist at the University of Richmond, this is a wonderful place to work. Lots of funding and professional opportunities, fantastic and collaborative faculty and students, and great facilities. If you are considering UR as a full-time faculty member or someone in administration, I've heard of some cases of sexism (mainly by older faculty nearing retirement), but that seems to be the case for most workplaces. The university as a whole is making a concerted effort towards inclusivity and I think it will continue to be a more and more rewarding place to work for woman/non-binary folks/ racial minorities."
