Exelon is a fantastic employer that has benefits that are top tier. The organization has an ongoing commitment and emphasis on diversity and inclusion that goes beyond just talk. The company has extremely high retention due to the fact that they are such a great employer to work for.

It sounds great to be able to work from home, but work loads are very large with little support. So although you could be flexible to volunteer at school or take a sick child to the dr you will make up for it with nights and weekends. Also, you may be passed over for a promotion if you have younger children. Assumptions may be made about your ability to travel or your dedication to long hours.

May 2016

Thesholds is a very supportive company, but hasn't found a way to provide top-notch benefits that would allow women to excel at the next level in their careers. Much of this is because of the realities of social service agencies and how they are funded through state dollars.
